I work with David Chapman
who is the owner of Webrageous Studios. Our working relationship has
spanned several projects and three years. Webrageous Studios
is in the business of Google AdWords pay per click management.
I recently asked Webrageous Studios to review the Google AdWords
account of one of my clients. David is very honest and that is
something that has always impressed me. His industry is not known
for honesty. David was very upfront in mentioning that this Google
AdWords campaign for my client would probably have a difficult time
reaching profitability. It is extremely rare when you request that a salesperson
create several recommendations for you and instead they tell you
that it would be best to do nothing. I asked them to proceed with a
few suggestions because this client really wanted to give it another
shot and David created several very helpful recommendations with the
goal of improving their pay per click campaigns.
Here are some excerpts from Webrageous' review of my
client’s AdWords account:
The first thing I should mention is that Google AdWords may not actually work for this client. I don't know if people are searching for exactly the services that she offers. This is going to be extremely tricky to find success with pay per click.
Here are a few recommendations in case this client wishes to
give this another shot.
The keyword 'customer service' is the keyword that is costing the most money for this paid search account. She is using broad match and that means that when someone searches for AT&T customer service or searches for the customer service telephone number for her cable company there is a chance that her ad will show up because broad match allows the base keyword to be paired with any other word.
This is how Google AdWords broad match works. This keyword, quite simply, will never make this client money and this keyword should be turned off.
'Customer engagement' and 'customer support' are also extremely vague keywords that my gut tells me may never be successful for this client with Google AdWords.
I wholeheartedly and unconditionally recommend
Webrageous Studios for management of Google AdWords. They also have
an exciting pay for performance pricing option that he has spoke
with me at length about. You can contact him
here.
